Working/hacking for the G man

Disclaimer: DON'T TAKE ANYTHING I KNOW AS LEGIT, I WOULD LIKE FOR SOME ONE TO CORRECT MY ASS
Okay, so I have been thinking about the NSA and how there always watching, among other tech related conspiracy theories and facts, and that got my ball for a brain rolling, the government makes these data centers in utah, and they have the budget, and I have heard that If you work for things like cyber com, you get a MASSIVE budget to, for example, invade foreign countries networks to obtain intel by any means necessary, and from what I have heard pen testers have to go through a shit ton of regulation to do stuff of that nature, so I know that there is definitely a point in keeping everything a secret via tor and encryption, but what about working for the people that make your privacy go to 1984, because from what I have seen that protection is quite the up hill battle, and applying that logic they have such a big budget and unlimited resources that they can do this, so yeah. Working for the G man seems like a better way to go because you are making these technologies, and that seems a lot more interesting than defending against them, because this is where all the crazy shit occurs, hacking for the g man

But if you're working for G-man wouldn't you just be more spied on than normal?
