I know that there have been a few videos about tech jobs, but I have a question. I'm looking for a job where i can move around the country and work from the internet, I do not have a degree, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge. I don't know where to start, it seems like there are so many schemes. Some help would be great.
If you're only gonna travel around the country, then you could set up days where you're available and be tech support for some product. Not flashy, but with nothing to show like Wendell said, you're stuck. Get something for yourself before travelling, and then see if you can work from home...*ahem* travelling. Of course for this to be reasonable you would need to compromise and be available at certain hours.
You should check out Tim Ferris´ book "The 4 Hour Workweek". It is basically just about what you are asking for.
I meant to leave a comment a while back... Thanks for the recommendation T_Frain.
How are your typing skills? have you considered Medical transcription or transcription in general?
Medical transcription is a tough field to enter here in the Seattle area ... and the medical terminology & physiology courses are pretty tough ... I helped my wife get through them ... she got good grades but ... still no job in the field.
Has she looked into telecommuting to a better market?
