My mom needs a new laptop, and she's going to buy one as a company expense (family business). She doesn't need a fancy gaming laptop by any means. It just needs to be powerful enough to pretty much never hang and lag when doing anything. Recommendations?

Depending on the budget, but I like AMD APU laptop choices, the integrated GPU is powerful enough to watch movies, play games and give an overall good graphics performance, while the quad core processor on it is more than enough to power daily activities. Any A8 or A10 notebook with at least 4gb ram will be fine.
On branding, I prefer Lenovo and Asus notebooks, they have a great build quality and the nicest keyboard (very important).
