can anyone read the inscription? . i think it is wootz and not pattern welded meaning its theoretically from around 500-1840 but more likely 1700-1800 as it likely would not have remained in such good condition if it was 1500 years old. thats ivory on the handle and i believe the black is either onyx or painted iron. the silver is probably silver paint and hammered in silver wire for the inscription.
top photo is the inscription cleaned up the rest are older. not sure in arabic, farsi, or urdu or what?
