I think you need to change the modems wireless settings via your computer.
Or sometimes change you PSP so that it will read only you're signal.
Ether way with wireless internet devices you need you're modems password to be put into the device (psp) at some point in time.
I suggest you ask the nerdiest looking guy in your local electronics store.
Or you can just ask me.
I may even show you how to set the whole thing up.
Buy a router?
Defineatly the best suggestion.. It isnt THAT expensive..
@ qain, do i just need a wireless router?
I think what qain means, is that you can route through your computer so it will act as a "router".
So, no you wont need a router I think if youre going for Qain's thing.
But the easiest (and best?) way is to buy a router
I think only Mac's have a somewhat built in router, right?
But easiest thing, buy a crappy $20 router since you're not gonna be using it for much.
Ok so this is what i did i just brought a WIRELESS ROUTER with 4 port switch will that do the job?
yes, what kind did you get.
Hook up to your main computer and modem.
Install drivers.
Set name and password.
Search for it on your PSP.
That's pretty much it.
Um a TL-WR340G Wireless Router 4 ports, is that good?
From TP Link? Wireless G is kinda outdated now but it'll work.

i understand that but the only reason i got it was for the PSP GO.[/b]
what i wrote was on the assumption you already had a wireless router. sorry.
Mostly, all you have to do is to connect a cable from your modem to the router's DSL port., then you can connect a cable between the router and a pc so you can configure it at; 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
