Wireless network card problems

while just browsing the web or doing anything that uses the internet, every so often my network connections just drop and i cannot connect to any. I get "no connections available" when i know there are because if i go on my other devices its fine. If i trouble shoot when this happens it sometimes fixes it but then other times i have to shut down and reboot my laptop. Ive got a feeling this may be windows or just my laptop coming to an end, its getting on a bit anyway. Ive tried reinstalling the drivers but that hasn't helped.

I'm using a Sony vaio vpcee2e1e, running windows 7

Have you update the drivers?

You could also be experiencing EMI from other devices.  If your using wireless G then cordless phones, bluetooth devices, microwaves can interfere with the wireless signal.

So check for the latest drivers for you card.

Okay, I'll check the drivers once more. I suppose thats also a possibility also, i mean 4 phone a tablet and 2 pcs may be the problem

I updated the drivers last night and that seemed to fix it but then a few hours later it started doing it again
