Wireless mouse - cursor problem

Hi all,

lately I have a problem with cursor of my wireless Logitech mouse. Sometimes when I move cursor along the line, it stuck for a very short while and appear, let's say, 0.5 cm further. Few days ago I changed CPU cooling, although, It does not look as if it was a problem with CPU or something, because system works fine. I mean that whatever is working in the background, e.g. music or movie, work properly and do not stuck like the cursor does. I tried to change USB port that receiver works in, but it didn't help.

What comes to my mind at the moment is that Logitech's Unifying receiver interferes with the Wi-fi network card. However, as far as I remember I haven't had such problem before. At this point I do not have any cable mouse to check whether it would work or not.

Do you know any similar cases and have an idea what may cause this? How can I check what's wrong?

Best regards,
D

Maybe the polling rate in the logitech software? Maybe try bumping it down a nudge, I tried setting mine to 1000 and had similar cpu hickups and bumped it back down to 500 and fixed.

Do you mean the pointer speed option?

I don't see any option related to polling rate in Logitech's SetPoint software

Hi,

as I thought it might be a problem with wi-fi signal. I bought a cable USB mouse and it works just perfect...
