Hello all, I'm gonna be getting a raspberry pi for my birthday (exactly one month from now) and I plan to plug it into my old CRT TV. My problem is that the TV is around 3-6 meters away and that's why I need it to be wireless.
I don't mind if its a combo or not, but I don't want to spend $75 or more on both. Preferably cheaper but the range still be good and preferably the mouse and keyboard not lag or recognize keys/movements that I didn't do.
Thank you to all who can recommend me stuff.
Also, stores near me or I can order/go to are: Newegg Canada, Canada Computers, NCIX, Future shop, The source, and best buy. There may be more but I can't come up with them at the top of my head.
I purchased a Logitech MK330 keyboard and mouse combo. It runs off a little tiny usb dongle with an extension. The mouse uses a Single AA battery and the keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries. They are used as my keyboard to play games and type. I bought it on sale for $20 buy it usually around $30-$40 for the combo. The batteries are included. The keyboard and mouse also works on android when I plug a host adapter into my phone or tablet. I don't see why it would be incompatible with the Raspberry Pi. I got mine at Staples where I live but it will most likely be in any retail store (i.e. Wallmart, Target, Bestbuy, etc.)
i've never used anything that was bad, or exceptionally good, so i'd say that you'll be good with anything you get, cheaper the better
except a logitech k400, thing's so laggy
Here is some photos of the keyboard/mouse and the usb dongle.
Awesome, thanks people for the answers :D
TheOneWhoIsDrunk, is that dongle for the mouse and keyboard or is it just for the keyboard / mouse?
Both keyboard and mouse, sorry for the slow response.
Awesome, thanks for your reply! Well, today I found out there's about a $10-$20 sale on the mk320 so I think I'll be getting that instead of the 330 because they don't seem very different, and the 320 is cheaper, but thank you for your reply! :D
