Alright, because of where I live and some circumstances that im not going to get into I need to find the best way to get an internet connection. I live on top of a hill and the phone line that is running up to our house is going to be cut and running a new one up is not an option. So what we really need is some sort of wireless isp that provides a connection for a house that will have 5 internet users max at a time. If any of you all know of a great way to get a good internet connection for a decent price without a cable it would be tons of help.

I lived out in the middle of no where and through my cell phone provider rogers I was able to use a usb stick called the rocket stick which used the cell data network to access the internet. That was in Ontario Canada. Not sure where you live but the wireless internet options are numorous in Canada. If someone in your house has a cell phone its easily set up to tether internt, however, if your playing games, netflix, and moving lots of data wireless is generally not good.
Yea thats my biggest concern. I dont exactly live in the middle of nowhere but because the hill that I live on is a half a mile up running any cable up is expensive. From looking into it more I can either go with a dish (which will have network limits. aka pay for this much internets and once you hit your limit your out of internets) and a wireless service run through the cell towers. Neither sound promising for my gaming at all.
if you plan on using the internet much at all, pay for the wires now, pay less for service that won't run out of data usage in a week
If your the only one around you that has internet and your neighbours don't that would actually raise your property value. I would bite the bullet and do it. Get the line up to the house. Dig the trench yourself if ya have to.
