I'm wanting to make a wireless media network that will let me stream 1080p video to my TV/other computers and cell phones and still be able to watch netflix and other things online without spending a lot of money. And i'm wanting it to be expandable, As in i buy another TV and streaming stick and it would work with that too.
I was thinking about using an old win 98' computer as the server(if it can handle it) hooked to my SR360N, And have the media sent to an android streaming stick of some kind. If the streaming stick can do all of the decoding would the old computer be able to work? and any ideas on what streaming stick would work best would be helpful. Also i'm wanting a remote control for the streaming stick since right now i'm using a loptop with wireless mouse and keyboard to watch movies.
Any help would be great.
