hey there i recently purchased a netgear night hawk x6 r8000. i run a simple nas4free server at home to stream media files and to store huge video files that i have recorded from tv or my hdcamcorder.
i find that no matter what i try over wifi i am limited to a max of 17mbps transfer when storing files onto the server. is this a limit of the router? my sync speed with the router is 867mbps and at full strength. is there no way to increase this speed?
i currently use samba, but even local ftp doesnt seem to fare any better. is there another protocol i can use to saturate this link or am i missing something here
