Windows Warrenty Scam

This is in response to a scammer that keeps calling my house. They tell me that I have a deadly virus and offer to sell me a warrenty extension. Similar scams offer to use TeamViewer and other VNC's to run tree commands in red in the console, etc. If I opened a virtual box and allowed them to run TeamViewer could I obtain an IP address? There needs to be a connection so it should go both ways. If I have an IP address what all can I do and at what point have they invaded my system such that I can counter? I would say as soon as the VNC is running with malicious intent I would be free to "protect" my system. If I am my own antivirus (not usually any in a VBox) could protection extend to overvolting the cpu so they don't contact me again? At what point do you draw the line? Thanks.

Understand, words are powerful. If you even suggest to the scammer you are overvolting their cpu through their IP address it would seem as though they would run away. From a knowledge standpoint, is it even possible? After seeing one scam recorded on youtube all they did was tree and then color [red]. I really want to just do color 0a (green) and tell them i fixed it.

you should give the guy the run around and record it all jerky boys style.

I completely aggree with this guy ^^ lol

And if you can, trace his phone number.

If you get his IP post it here!

But how? I thought about tellling them when they call back that I have the VNC installed and it is asking for an IP address (make them think we were disconnected earlier) by doing ipconfig. Chances are they won't know what is happening.

I don't know how, I'm not Batman or Tony Stark... It always comes up as unknown or something impossible like 0, 1, or 1000000000.
