I’m looking to get a tablet/laptop for travel purposes. I really want something quiet, light, and with a long battery life. I’m more of a “Windows” guy, but was originally considering an M* chip Macbook.
The Snapdragon Windows laptops/tablets seem compelling, however.
I primarily use:
Various Microsoft Office Suite apps
VS Code
Windows Subsystem for Linux
An older Direct X 9 game called Asheron’s Call (though very little when I am mobile).
Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
About the most compute intensive thing I use is Lightroom/Photoshop, though when I am traveling (and thus using the laptop/tablet) I primarily just use Lightroom to import and cull photos, and don’t do a lot of actualy editing.
Would one of the Snapdragon Windows laptops work well for all of these? Or are there still a lot of apps that don’t run well?
