What do you guys think of the new windows update?
Voice control feature that has been added sounds great but only for you guys across the pond in the US, anyone discovered any good features that have been added in?
It looks interesting but I think I'll be switching to android before the update is available for my phone. I enjoy the platform, but the apps that I want just aren't available, I don't think I want to wait for them.
I just got a lumia 1520 about 3 months ago. I immediately updated to developer 8.1 and i love it so much. However Mordecai is right. The app support just isn't there which has left me eyeballing the 1+.....
The 8.1 Update 1 that was released Monday was pretty sweet. 8.1 brought a lot of changes, most of which are under the hood (except for action center and Cortana), but the 8.1 GDR1 has brought folders, and better (and generally faster) IE rendering, both of which are far more useful to me on a day-to-day basis.
WP really sucks without the developer preview. 8.1 has been available on the preview for a few months now and is just starting to roll out to a few devices. GDR 1 (or Update 1) is already out on the preview, but there is still no word on when official 8.1+Cyan updates will hit my ATT920. I imagine that Update 2 will hit before Update 1 starts to get pushed to the masses 2-3 months from now.
