Windows Boot MGR

Hi, I recently did a fresh install of windows 7 onto an SSD but for some reason I can't pull out my 250 gb HDD without getting a "Boot MGR is missing, press ctrl+alt+delete to restart" prompt after my bios screen. I think it's because, for some reason, it installed my system reserved 100 mb partition on that HDD even though i installed onto the SSD.

I would like to remove that HDD to use in another system but I'm not sure how to without messing with my start up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Take the hard disk out so it's just the ssd, then run start up repair from the install disc, you may have to run it 3 or 4 times but it should eventually install a new boot manager.
