So the thing is I upgraded to windows 10 last night and it took a while.
After it was done My audio didnt work on my monitor because of the GPU drivers. I fixed it but my motherboard gave the 40q code error. This in combination with my just cause 3 not working (simple fix i just found out) I rolledback to windows 7. Now the game didnt work there either so i found that fix.
To be honest i dont know if I lost my chance to go to windows 10 for free... Like can i go back? Or is the license no longer valid.
If Windows 10 at any point was activated, Microsoft has the hardware ID in their activation servers. So you can always re-install Win10 (or Win7, doesn't matter)
So i can use the windows upgrade assistent which i used to do it and keep my files?
PS: If i use this site https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/software-download/windows10 It says i already am using windows 10..
hmm ...
I'm not a fan of upgrade assistants etc. OS upgrades (or downgrades) tend to leave a lot of junk behind.
Personally I'd advise to back up your data and do a clean install.
NL as language ... are you in the Netherlands or in Flanders?
Netherlands yes. I only got my steam as like my data. I can go full clean but i like the simplicity of the upgrader. In the future i want to go full sssd anyway now ive got my os on ssd and steam on hdd so thats why i prefer it
