ok i bought a new pc with this motherboard GA-970A-DS3
and windows says it does not support secure boot
so is secure boot any usefull ?
do i need it ?

If you're a Windows user, you definitely don't need it, in fact it's better without. If you're an RPM-based GNU/Linux user, it is a very good extra security feature, but then the system is already so secure, so yeah... as Bean says, you don't need it.
avoid it like the plague, its slow and doomed to fail
