Windows 8 Brightness Issue

I recently installed Windows 8 Pro on my Sony Vaio notebook.  I have just about everything I can think of configured to my liking, except for 1 thing that is really bothering me.  My brightness function keys on my keyboard no longer work (Fn+F5 and Fn+F6).  I can adjust the brightness from the settings section in the charms bar but not with my function keys. I have tried installing all possible drivers and have had no luck. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any programs I could possibly use to set the brightness keys?

Thanks in advance

edit: recently discovered but not as important my Fn+F7 that acts as windows+p also doesnt work.  As well as Fn+F9 and Fn+F10 which acts as Ctrl+ "+" and Ctrl+ "-" do not work. and also a Fn+F12 that I'm not sure what originally did (looks like a can with an arrow going through it with two "z" 's to the side might have put something to sleep or something not sure.

also my 3 volume Fn commands work but those are the only ones

Download KeyTweak

i had this same problem too a while ago and this solved everything. All it does is it enables you to remap any key, and key combo's like Fn+F5 to up the brightness...try it out it might just solve your problem

thanks for the reply, i've been trying to use this but it isnt recognizing my Fn key or key combinations also in the drop box I can't find brightness up or brightness down. any tips?
