Windows 8 Automatic Repair Loop

I have a laptop which is stuck trying to preform an automatic repair and failing every time. I tried to refresh my PC and it fails every time and I tried to reset my PC and it fails every time. I'm stuck on what to do it wont let me boot into safe mode or anything.

windows does some funky things with how it starts and stops. the hard drive by default is set to hibernate i am pretty sure.  you can disable this by setting the pc to shut all the way down and start as well. go to control panel / hardware & sound / power options / cick choose what the power buttons do  and then disable fast startup. also if you can or want to, look in your bios and look for fast start. disable that. if that fixes it, make sure you're all patched and re-enable them if you like that sort of thing.

I think your missing the point. I Can't get into windows. I have turned my computer all the way off and on. I tried to refresh it and couldn't. I tried to reset it and couldn't. My bios doesn't give me any options for fast startup.

I have this issue recently. Did you install the latest patch? If so, my advice is to do a system restore, as Microsoft reported that their latest patch contains a bug where constant BSOD will occur. I had that on both of my Windows 8.1 machines and by restoring to the time before I install the latest patch, it reverts the affect. I'm not sure if that's related to the startup loop issue that both of us have but getting rid off the patch seems to fix the issue.

in the off chance this is still an issue. yeah i said that backward. but if you can't get it into safe mode then boot the thing up with another disk/usb and get your data and reinstall everything. you might can do something with the windows 8 boot disk and run chk disk or something, i have never had much luck there. i know that is not much help... sorry your machine is having problems.
