Windows 8.1 restart issue...need some help

Hey guys,

So i installed a fresh version of windows 8 on my SSD after a format. Installed windows 8 from my USB without issue, preformed all the driver installations and windows updates with an issue. Installed 8.1 some place close to the end of the update, the computer restarted but the monitor shut off (system otherwise stayed running) saying there was no signal from the DVI port. I let it stay there for some time with no change. After a hard reset it started up without an issue and finished the 8.1 installation. Now, every time i "soft" restart from within windows the computer shuts down, system stays on, and then the monitor turns off saying no signal from the DVI until i hard reset via the reset button.

My 780s are operating fine in SLI and have the most updated drivers, device manager does not indicate anything without a driver, disk manager reports nothing. I am a complete and utter loss as to what the issue is as i did not have this issue previously.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It will be a sli driver issue with 8.1. Best to send a bug report to nvidia to see if they can address the issue in further releases.
