Sadly i'm sure this has been discussed on here before. I still did not find a forum post about it, so i am making one. As the title says, is 8.1 pro worth the extra money? I am in the process of an about $900 AMD build, and will mostly use it for gaming, browsing and a bit of programming here and there.
not really unless you HAVE to have Hyper-V
If Hyper-V is the only thing i have to have it for then its a definite no lol.
If you have a college email address ([email protected]) and your college or school is on MS list, you can get 8.1 Pro for $75
oo nice. I'm sure some sketchy community college allows random people to get an email with a .edu . Somewhere.. currently a high school student, no .edu email addresses there :(
