Windows 8.1 - Gamepad Issue

What's up guys? I have recently upgraded from 8 to 8.1 and was hoping that all things go smoothly right away with gaming.

I have been experiencing the strange connectivity issue with Logitech gamepad F710. The gamepad is not found in the gameprofiler software automatically and have to be added manually. It only works with D input enabled (direct input). When switching to Xinput, the gamepad is totally gone. It works flawlessly in 8 and upgrading to 8.1 seems to be the problem.

Things that i did momentarily works for me:

1. uninstall the logitech game profiler and remove drivers from device manager

2. registry cleaned

3. reinstall

4. works for awhile. exit game, problem returns.

any ideas or anyone has any success in emulating the problem and solving it? thanks.

Issue solved after i snoop around.
