Windows 8.1 Bluetooth driver BSOD problems

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a UE Mini Boom (a Bluetooth speaker made by Logitech) which has been working flawlessly with my phone (Nexus 5).
Unfortunately, trying to get it running on my laptop, I've been running into a problem I can't solve on my own. The first time I tried to connect the UE Boom to my Yoga 2, Windows wouldn't find the UE Boom, just keeping on searching for Bluetooth devices. I took a look into the device manager, which shows "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" under "Bluetooth". I then went to Lenovo's website and downloaded the driver from here: http://support.lenov...notebook-lenovo
I didn't know which manufacturer's adapter I have, so I just tried the "Atheros, Realtek and Broadcom" one, which installed succesfully. After that, my UE Boom immediatley showed up in Windows' Bluetooth settings and I connect and play music. Now is where my problems started: When I woke up my laptop from Standby the first time afterwards, I was greeted with a blue screen saying that Windows had detected a problem and couldn't be continued and that it would do a restart (I am paraphrasing since my PC is set to German). Underneath it said that I should look into the following error message: "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (rtwlane.sys)".
Upon googling I read that those problems can often be fixed by updating drivers. I made sure the Bluetooth driver was at fault by trying to turn on my laptop from standby with it uninstalled, which worked fine. When I reinstalled the driver, it would again always give me the same blue screen when waking up from Standby.
I took a look into the device manager, which told me that the adapter was indeed a Realtek one (Realtek Bluetooth 4.0; other info in there was: manufacturer-ID: 93, HCI version 6.9022. LMP version 6.9266) so I downloaded the latest driver from here: http://www.driversca...high-speed-chip (version 1.3.826.3). It installed perfeclty fine, the blue screen problem was gone, but my UE Boom wouldn't show up when searching for Bluetooth devices again, no matter if installed with the "old" driver installed or installed after uninstalling the old one.

My Lenovo Yoga 2 is running Windows 8.1 64bit, which I installed from a USB drive, so it's not Lenovo's (shitty) install. I have since not run into any other related issues, every other driver from that website installed and worked fine up until now.

Regards,
Lu

Help would be greatly appreciated, if I forgot any info please tell me!

PS: The new forum kinda confused me, I hope this is the proper place to ask this question.

Edit: Solved.

What was the solution, please?

I tried everything I could, but in the end only another fresh install of Windows did the trick.
