Windows 7 64-bit Random freezing

I just got a new computer, a few days after I had been using it freezed randomly. Like I wasn't stressing the computer by any means, I was like talking on skype and browsing + spotify. I hoped that it wouldn't happen again and i continued to use it, and now a few days later it freezed again, and I have no clue why it does it. I looked it up on google but didn't find any solutions, I saw that there are many other people that have the same problem. My pc specs are :

PCU: OCZ MODXSTREAM PRO 500 WATT PSU

CPU: AMD FX-4100 BE 4-CORE 3.6GHZ 12MB SOCKET AM3+ BOX

Memory: CORSAIR 8GB DDR3 VENGEANCE LP PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL9 (2X4GB)

Video Card: ASUS RADEON HD7770 2GB PCI-E DVI/HDMI/DP

Motherboard: ASUS M5179 R2.0

I also read that I maybe had to do something with "Memory QVL". Didn't understand what this is tough.

Would appreciate if someone helped me, sorry for bad grammar/english :/

First off, according to ASUS there is no such thing as a M5179 motherboard.  So this could be your first problem.  I would assume it does have to do with the Memory QVL, which stands for Qualified Vendors List.  Basically the motherboard is made and verified with certain types of memory, and they are "Qualified" to work with that motherboard.

What I need to know:

1. What is the model number of your motherboard?

2. What is the model number of your RAM?
