Windows 7 64-bit driver problems for graphics card

Hi guys , I have an old Acer aspire 7535g and I wanted to install W7 64-bit on it since it's compatible and I could put to good use all the 4gb of RAM , the only problem is that if I install w7 64-bit the primary graphics card (ati radeon hd 4500) won't start (error code 10 : device could not start) . I get this error on the 32-bit version of w7 but I can fix it by uninstalling the dirvers and checking the DELETE DRIVER SOFTWARE box  in the device manager and then letting windows download the updated driver (it says that the driver is up to date if I don't check the delete software box) , the only problem is that in W7 64-bit you don't have a delete software box so the device cannot start and the drivers that I download from the AMD site don't detect the graphics card . I have tried with 3rd party driver removal software but it doesn't work , also this problem persists in W8.

Thanks for your help !

you tried this driver allready? that should normaly work.

Yup , if I just download the AMD driver and install it without first uninstalling the card from the device manager and deleting the generic Win driver and then letting it update it won't work, and I did it like 5 or 6 times

thats a littlebit wierd then, maybe on the website of the laptop manufacturer there you can find some drivers, but normaly the amd drivers should work.
