Windows 11 Pro + Startup Question

Running the latest build for Windows 11 Pro and have some shortcuts located in the STARTUP folder to run some apps automatically when logging into my local user account.

These are Web Browsers as I run multiple browsers at the same time.

Now the two in question are Google Chrome and MS Edge, the shortcuts have the command line switches to disable the IDLE mode settings under power management.

However I’ve noticed that after a couple of recent updates this is no longer happening and they are once again using the power management mode I had disabled.

So is is probable that the updates just freaking replaced the startup shortcuts with defaults ?

Seems to be the most likely cause :frowning:

NVM - I figured it out, the app updates would reload said app and bypass the switch altogether.

I confirmed that the startup shortcuts still have these switches in place.

Hence why when I ran the desktop shortcuts they loaded properly without this mode being enabled for both apps.

I guess I would rather the update just run a stub and do a complete restart even if it means not starting back at the previous page/pages.
