Windows 10 with Intel hybrid cores

How is Windows 10 at handling the P and E cores on 12th Gen Intel and newer.

Almost all of our desktop computers available in our ordering system are 12th gen and going to be 13th gen soon. The science and engineering workstations are Xeon still. ALL of our upcoming laptops will be 13th gen as Intel hasn’t made mobile Xeons in a minute.

I am just worried those running Revit, Civil 3d, or myself in Geospatial will see weird performance since were are stuck at Windows 10. I asked our IT Chief yesterday and she checked up the chain and there are no current plans on when to move to Windows 11.

I would bet any OS R&D on Intel P & E cores will be put into W11 to force people to ‘upgrade’ with W10 getting the barest of attention beyond lip service.

It will require a dramatic amount of work to sort out what task should run on what cores and when.

We have 800+ people in our office and over 30k employees. Probably really effects 1/4 of those folks doing modeling and rendering.
