Windows 10 Windows Media Player Not Fetching Album Art?

Hi, so I’ve noticed upon further audio testing that Windows Media Player for Windows 10 has not been/does not fetch/fetching artwork.

I was just wondering if this is the case for anyone else, and/or if anyone knows why this may be the case.

I also noticed that this issue has not been occurring for Windows 8.1 Windows Media Player. So from this, I’m figuring it might be a discontinued feature maybe? Not really sure. Some things are kind of broken, other things are worse than previous versions, etc… it’s kind of all over the place with this stuff.

Don’t use Windows 10 anymore, but maybe I can point you to a good direction.

Does using another program like VLC grab the artwork for you?

I believe that WMP needs to have the artwork file in the same directory with the song files (not sure if this has changed over the years or not, maybe its all internet based now or built into the meta data of the track? )
