Trying to figure out what’s going on. The VM’s stability is incredibly poor when it’s running. Things I’ve noticed:
- Locking up/hanging after start-up
- Locking up when performing certain network operations like downloading updates and files.
- Sometimes Mouse/Keyboard do not move after system starts up
Performance hangs at around 2% to 5% at time times when the system locks up. I’m just not sure what’s going on. I know the system can be stable when it wants too. It just seems… temperamental at best and I’m not sure what to do.
I’m using Ryzen 2700 + an Asus x370 motherboard (can’t remember the exact model). Memory is 24GB @ 2400 mhz. Recently upgrade the memory from 16 to 24 as well. Seemed to help quite a bit. But not enough to be usable when I need to remote into my work pc or just pull up Word/Excel.
Any advice is appreciated.
