Windows 10 Home or Pro?

Hello,
I'm looking to buy Windows 10 and I am planning to run it in a Virtual Machine for the purposes of playing Games. My main OS is Fedora Linux and I want to utilize the new GPU Passthrough tek to Play Win Games in a VM with only minor performance loss.
I'm trying to decide between Win10 Home and Pro. Can you give me any advice?
Thanks.

My suggestion is to buy an OEM Pro license only because with some tinkering you can disable the automatic background updates and only get an annoying banner once every time you boot the machine to remember you that you have pending updates. Also has the built in remote desktop feature, which I find interesting and useful sometimes.

The Home version doesn't allow me to disable the Spy stuff?

Wait, it's not the spy stuff. That's part of the OS and you need external tools to try to recover some privacy. The Home version allows to get around the automatic background update only disabling them, but with the Pro edition as I said before, you can decide at least when to install them.

Considering you're running it in a VM & can sandbox it a little, Home might be fine. If this were your primary operating system though, I'd recommend Pro.

I heard that you can run win10 without activating windows.
