Windows 10 Forced update risk

I was always sceptic about all this free thing with Win10 even pirated versions of Win can be upgraded to 10. Anyway i've read that tonight will be first forced update. So what's your thoughts about it ? You could probably stop updates but you can't pick what updates you want or not, that made me feel like "tin foil hat time". Here's Microsoft's explanation:

"Finally, we will access, disclose and
preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of
your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary"

Please guys don't give me that "if you have nothing to hide why are you paranoid ?". I don't want my PC to be a open book for some corporation which can share your info with anyone, but they "wouldn't do that"
Sorry for my cringey English
