Windows 10 and ryzen 5 2400g

i just made a ryzen 5 2400g rig and its my first time using w10… is it compatible out of the box or do i need more patches and drivers?

my net became slow (wifi) even when all other devices tested was not slow
froze and crashed 5x (the day i finished building it) while browsing chrome

is this OS optimal now or does it really create a problem with this cpu?

one more thing my native res is 1366x768 when i set it at that and use the media player that came with w10 i can use it on full screen cause then the screen becomes distorted and the color becomes mushed together…same wtih youtube if i switch to full screen same thing…but if i lower the res things are ok… and if i use vlc or older media players i can play movies at full screen.

any solution to this? thanks

im thinking of switching OS to w7 or xp lol

Win 10 is super slow at frist launch because its patching everything without asking you. Was just doing a E3-1246v3 system and was like wtf why is this so slow. Was good old windows installing patches

Did you check logs?

By choice? Like is that all it will go to or is that your monitors resolution?

Ryzen is very picky on RAM. Make sure the stuff you have is in the QVL for your motherboard, for Ryzen. if not, you will have to run it at the slow default speeds. That might account for crashes.

As mentioned, Windows 10 loves to DDOS your connection with updates. It is pretty bad. Probably a good idea to make a fresh install USB every time you need to install it.

What graphics card are you using and what drivers are installed for it?
