I have windows 10 on a second hard drive just trying it out. I am using latest 15.7 AMD drivers R7 260x GPU. When I try to record game play using win + G or win + alt + R AMD drivers will crash. I have to reboot to try to record again. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
I would check the compatibility of your recording software with windows 10 and see if there is an update for it to begin with. A lot of software that works just fine on Win 7 and Win 8.1 need a small update before they will run properly in Win 10 even though they are technically "Compatible" on the grounds of the windows 10 kernel is almost virtually the same between Win 7 and Win 8.1.
Its the Windows 10 software. Windows 10 has it's own built in Game recording.
Ah, that may be the problem then, if it's the software they are planning on using with Microsoft multimedia services like Xbox LIVE. I would hazard to guess that the software isn't really complete yet.
Yeah thats what I was thinking. Some people are using it fine. you can search windows 10 Game dvr and see all kinds of videos. =)
We all know big corpo software developers are forced to push out incomplete software just to make a buck to appease the stock shareholders. Then are forced to fix the buggy code they had to release just a month or two later after commercial release.
