what would be better for a amd gaiming pc i heard that amd cpu get a boost from window 8 due to window 7 not beying optimize for buildozer but i am using a piledriver chip so ...
8 has too many direct x issues, you'd be better off going with 7
I would switch to w8 at once if ms were tu bury metro.
People give windows 8 too much crap. i use Windows 8 Pro x64 and i find it to be very stable and to also have fast boots and shutdowns. i havent experiance Direct X problems like others. I do have to agree that metro is a little annoying but its no too bad of an idea. just look at it like the start menu is layed out in front of you insted of being in a list with tons of folders. most of the time you get sent to desktop mode witch i belive has better file manegement then Windows 7. Who really cares what it looks like you never really use the OS you use the applications that get what you need to be done finnished.
Windows 7 will be outdated pretty. 8 will be the big soon. Get 7 for now.
