win8.1 messed up f: drive admin. permissions

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this...

I've just installed win 8.1 over win 7, and every program i use now, for eg. Firefox, utorrent, requires me to run it as admin, otherwise it cannot save files to my f: drive, all my security settings for the drive are allowed for all accounts and so on.

Well i figured it out, it was not the entire disk, just a few folders on it such as downloads, created new ones, moved files from the old ones, and now it works fine.
