Will z87 support ivy bridge?

I've been digging for hours trying to find the answer and I just cant seem to find it.

Currently I have a 3570k in my living room media center/light gaming rig but I'll soon be swapping it for an i3 (the video card is only a 660 so the i5 is overkill). I was going to save money for a sabertooth z77 board and use the i5 in my new build as a placeholder till I can get a 3770k. With the new haswell line coming out in the next few months I figured if its compatable I'll just grab a TUF series z87 board (we all know asus will have one almost immediately after the release) and use the i5 till I can get ahold of a "4770k" or whatever they decide to call it.

The real question is has anyone other than me been digging for this info and if so has anyone found a reliable answer?

Z87 will not support ivy bridge it only supports 1150 socket cpu's

No Nein neeh :P

It will not be supported since the socket is going to be different because Intel is a douchebag. And good-guy AMD has decided to continue support for their current AM3+ socket for another couple generations at least.

yeah thats why i didnt buy a shiTeL anymore :P

I can't fault Intel for the robustness of their processors, they have the absolute best per-core performance on the market. Period. Now you will pay for it, but they are very good at what they do.
