hmm what i can see right away is the drive you have chosen you can get a far better 1tb 7200rpm 3.5" drive for the same price
Howdy BIGASKD how is the weather in New Zealand? Yes, it will work but there can be improvements made if you so wish to do so.
You can sacrfice that fx6300 for a fx4300 and save some money, i have not heard of any game that uses more then 4 cores yet.
A 7200rpm drive would be a slight improvement over the 5400rpm drive you listed, the savings from switching the processor should cover the cost difference.
The power supply iam a little concerned about, there is no information about it other then its a 500w. That could end up being a big risk for your system that could cost you your time and money in the long run.
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/536 Here is a bench of how the HD7770 does in various games at various resolutions, it is a proper card!
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/700?vs=699 Here is a bench of the FX4300 vs FX6300, as you can see in the games listed the difference between the two is anything from 1-10 fps.
Cheers, ill will defanitly change the cpu and i just relised that i already have a hard drive lol so i can save so more cash.
Do your have any ideas for a decent case and power supply??
ps: weather is overcast
Any case will just about do for your system since you have a m-atx motherboard. I will leave the case choice to you good sir, for a power supply if you are on a really tight budget the Corsair CX series will do but i highly recomend something along the lines of a XFX 450 for your system as well. Antec makes decent Earthwatts power supplies also, and they are budget as well. So do a quick search for these prices on these psu, CX430v2 - CX500V2 - XFX 450, please post back their prices and we can go from there.
i cant find a price for CX430v2 - CX500V2 - XFX 450 http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=PSUCOR1430&name=CORSAIR-430W-CX-430v2-ATX-Power-Supply-80PLUS-120m or www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=PSUCOR1500&name=CORSAIR-500W-CX-500v2-ATX-Power-Supply-80PLUS-120m

But i found the psu in the case
http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=402998
it has a 22amp 12v rail on a 500w, sir please do not get that. That is equal to a 250-300 watt quality power supply in terms of power, it really is a bad power supply.
no i cant i have a budget around $700 nzd
i wont thanx
hey this is what i would do and i would get a second 4 gb stick later http://pcpartpicker.com/nz/p/sZQ4
the fx 6200 is still a piledriver cpu it just has a 125w tdp instead of 95w
EDIT: i was wrong the fx 6200 is Buldozer go with the 4300
i was going to go with a fx4300 and save some money
,
prob will go with one stick of ram thanx!
for my psu ans case i might go with http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=401223
http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=407981
The power supply link is down, but is it the Antec Neo Eco 400c? If so, it will do decently well and handle your system nicely. It will limit your overclocking in the future though, but it will work just fine for now.
yes it is
Thanks a lot
should i go with the FX-6200 or FX-4300 ? they both the same price
but i cant over clock on the FX-6200
The FX6200 is a bulldozer cpu, personally i would go for the FX4300 as its based on the Piledriver and right now that is where the performance is.
here is the final build http://pcpartpicker.com/nz/p/t0mF
Looks very good BIGASKD! It will do very well in gaming!
