Will this be a massive fail or not?

I have previously posted on tek syndicate regarding the building of my 'gaming' pc. I use the term 'gaming' sparingly as whatever piece of crap I end up building, it will no doubt be much better than this much bigger piece of crap I am typing this on now. I do consider the computer I am trying to build to be a 'gaming' one as that is what its main purpose will be.

I have after many moons gathered a list of components or what have you, and they literally mean nothing to me. I have copied them below and I would like to ask if they would work/ any suggestions to improve what I have chosen. I also have no idea what information is needed in the working out of these components and if they will actually fir together, so I'm very sorry for the word overload that is occurring below.

Thanks in advanced!

Cpu and mobo doesn;t work. Different brand and sockets.

Power Supply is kinda pushing it to the lowest as it limits upgradability later on.

What is your budget?

What kind of games you aiming to play?

Need OS?

Hi, thanks for responding.

My Budget is , suprisingly, as cheap as possible.

I will mainly use this PC for gaming, but I wont be running anything on max graphics or things like that.

what is an OS? I am completely unaware when it comes to the workings of computers.

OS is short for operating system, it is the part of the computer that you interact with, example: Windows.

Also an exact number on the budget would be helpful

Oh thanks, Im guessing Windows?

And around £600

OS - Operating System is essential a software which manages all the components and hardware you put on a motherboard and allow you to control the pc. It is required so you can't use a pc with an OS.

So an example is Windows which is generally well known. If you gonna build your own system. Make sure you read some guides on building system. There are plenty on youtube and forums.

There must be a number with a budget though else its pretty difficult to work with.

I wanted to build my own pc with rumors that i'd get a much better quality pc for £600 for example if I built it on my own and bought the components on my own compared to a £600 pc world one.

Here my opinion: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/387NJ

Also, if you don;t have a monitor, keyboard and mouse to use, remember to buy them

And don't ever get a desktop from PC World. They are way overpriced. Even their laptop deals aren't that great.

Dude? Did you literally just get together everything that I will need?

That's awesome!

So all I need to do in theory is get these and assemble them? And hey presto new computer?

Somewhat yes.... just make sure you inform yourself by watching videos BEFORE you try anything yourself... otherwise your gonna have a bad time.... But i agree with what he suggested, I have that exact CPU and it ROCKS!

I only wanted to build my own PC after watching the massive tek syndicate one, I'm sure I will be extremely careful before I start placing electronics in random places.

Thanks for all the help!

Goodluck and don't stress! Building a PC really isn't that difficult. It is like Legos really.

really expensive legos that are sensitive to static electricity :)
