Hello, I would like someone to answer a simple question for me please ( Or at least I hope it's simple )
I recently ordered parts to build a gaming PC and when double checking, I noticed that under the motherboard, it said it supported the same type of processor, and the same socket, but not the individual one. I was just wondering if someone could tell me if these two parts will be compatible?

It should work, no problems. The motherboard supports FM2 Athlon processors.

Should work fine. If you have any issues, a BIOS update should fix them.
How would I update the BIOS?
I can't guarantee that it will boot. If it doesn't, and you have a local Tigerdirect, visit them and ask if they can help you update the BIOS. They will likely be able to help you. Otherwise, if it boots to the BIOS screen, there is usually an option to update the BIOS from a flash drive. On another computer, with an empty flash drive, download the latest driver from the company's web site. Plug the flash drive into the new computer and select the update when it asks which file to use. Give it time.
