My question is: will the 7790 be worth buying because the 7850 is only 15-20 euros more expensive. It's definitely worth buying over a 7770.
Prices will start at 130 euros for a basic 7790, whereas the 7770 costs +/- 100 euros and the 7850 costs 150 euros.
I think the 7790 will be a great value for 130 euros, because it almost performs the same as a 7850 for less money. Estimated time of launch is begin April.
What do you guys think about this new graphics card? Because my original plan was to buy a 7770 for my personal build, or should I hold off until the 7790 comes out and buy that one?
Imposable to definativly say....and drivers do always seem to be a issue on launch.
Personally Id go 7850.....for the extra that 15-20 euros you get better cooler and heatsink for overclocking (if only based on footprint) and if your getting a 7850, you should be overclocking! you also get solid drivers.
I also wouldnt got Nvida with your budget, unless your really going to using the cuda cores with workstation programs.
I would hands down go with the 7790 over the 650 ti Boost. Check out the benchmarks, http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Radeon-HD-7790-vs-GeForce-GTX-650-Ti-BOOST-Video-Card-Review/1754/1
7790 beats the 650 ti Boost in all the game bench's except for AvP.
