Will the Achieva Shimian work with my GPU

Im looking at buying a Achieva Shimian monitor. It says that it accepts only Dual Link DVI (DVI-D?). Now, my graphics card has a DVI-I input (gigabyte OC 7870). Would it still work with my card?

yes just use a dual link dvi cable and it will work just fine.  Just be aware that 1440p is more demanding then 1080p

I bought an achieva from a UK seller. It was tested by the seller before he listed it. I may have paid more than how much i would have got it for directly from SK.

Anyways, got it yesterday, WHAT a monitor! cant believe i was using a 1080p one all this time.

i have a question, what card do you recommend for such a resolution, i want the most affordable option which can handle the resolution at high or ultra if at all possible.
