Will RAM prices drop?

Are RAM prices going to drop anytime soon because I'm planning to throw in another 2x4GB 1600MHZ

Gonna have to wait for deals, I highly doubt they are going to drop. Last year I got my 8GB 1866 Kit for $45 a week before black friday/cyber Monday.

2 years back i got 32gbs of patriot viper 3 for 110$ and im glad i did.

DDR4 will drop over time to ~DDR3 cost.  DDR3 will probably drop a little (not counting sales) but will bottom out soon.  With sales it will probably be at least 30% off.
