Will 550 watts be enough?

I have a question on my PC build (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/B31H4M/saved/1fjJ)

Will this xfx 550w power supply be enough for a 8350 and an 7870xt overclocked? Nothing extreme, but as much as I can squeeze out of it. Or should I get a beefer supply? I won't be getting caught up in the crossfire, so no worries on that front. Just, will it be enough without any stability issues?

Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but I thought It was most appropriate.

It might be tight... but in theory... If you are worried about the psu being too loud or getting too hot then you should upgrade...

Calculate an approximate value here: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

Will be fine, my i5-2500k and GTX 670 takes a maximum of 430w, so I'm sure your PSU will be good!

@imadman I've used that calculator before, and I think I'll be cutting it close. Maybe too close.

I'd like to hear another opinion on this, and - if there is a better psu I can buy (around this price point) please suggest one.

That's a good power supply, made by Seasonic if I'm not mistaken, so japanese caps, single 12 volt rail, all that good stuff. 550 watts should be plenty for a modest overclock. That calculator seems to overcompensate a lot for crappy power supplies, and the one you're looking at is all good so I doub't it will be close.

Alright, thanks Pholostan. I think I've made up my mind, I'm going for that PSU. Thanks a lot everyone for your input.

As Pholostan points out, as long as you calculate with a slight margin and you choose an at least semi good psu(single 12V, brand, 80+) you should be good to go.
