Will 2133 Memory Work on a MotherBoard that says it only supports DDR3 2000(OC)/1866?

There's a combo on newegg with a good mobo and some memory. The thing is the memory is 2133 and the motherboard says it supports DDR3 2000(OC)/1866. Will the memory work with the mobo despite the slight difference?

Here's the board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1631900

that's not a "good mobo", Gigabyte's AMD chipsets are awful... but most motherboards will allow you to overclock memory... regardless you can always underclock it...

Mind suggesting me a good mobo and some good memory? My budget is $200.

I'll be using a FX-6300  and a GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD GeForce GTX 770 2GB  ... so keep that in mind.

If you are using a dedicated GPU then high speed RAM is pointless and a waste of money. In game you will see no performance befit with 2133 MHz memory over say 1333Mhz. Just go with whatever is cheapest from a reputable brand.

The Asus M5A97 R 2.0 and Asus M5A99FX Pro/Evo are both very good boards. The latter is only really needed for 8 cores or if you wanna run multiple GPUs.
