What Works

Networking
Works out of the box. Both NICs are detected properly and can be used.

Stereo sound works and so does the MIC input from the rear panel.

Sensors
Work with the latest lm-sensors and a patched it87 module

What Does Not

Front panel audio does not work without some tinkering with Pulseaudio commands.

What Was Not Tested

Other audio setups (5.1) from rear panel (no proper equipment on hand).
Video. Board has a HDMI port but I lack a proper CPU to test it.
NIC teaming.

Workarounds

For front panel audio (output)
https://frdmtoplay.com/gigabyte-front-panel-audio-with-linux/
To get the front MIC working, follow a similar procedure, but the PA commands change a bit (replace “sink” with “source”)

For onboard sensors
Compile it87 module
Correct sensor labels (check near the end of the thread)
