I just got a cheap no name wifi card and I installed it in my desktop. However, I get internet, but it turns off and on every second. Because it does not constantly keep turned on, I cannot install windows update, and I can't do anything. When the internet is on, I get speeds of 1 mbps and it takes about 20 seconds to load one webpage. I have a intel i7 processor and 8 gigs of ram and a Samsung 840 pro 256 gb ssd. running windows 7 and have a asus motherboard. my router is a old lynksis but my 2 other Lenovo laptops get good intrnet speeds and are constant. the wifi card is 802.11 b/g/n and the router is 802.11g.

I need more information.  What's the cards name, manufacturer, chipset, etc?

 my mobo is the z87 chipset idk about the card

If the card has always been like this then it's probably the card.
