I get 50 mbps through comcast and I use a VPN. I have to use Wi-Fi on my computer in my room, and I was wondering how much of a difference there would be if I moved my PC downstairs next to the router so I could plug into the ethernet port. Would it be worth it? And why?
I game online. A lot.
Worth it? Of course. You'll have a much better connection.
If you dont really want to move the pc downstairs - grab a couple of home plugs and use them.
if you do online gaming you may see some ping improvement. and stability issues solved, if there are any. if you are just surfing the net probably not, as long as you have a strong signal. id say try it and let us know. if you are curious
