Why is it that every GPU today has to be a 2 slot multi-fan monster regardless of power consumption? I mean I get that better cooling can sometimes get better overclocks (personally I would argue binning has a greater effect to an extent). But the 750 Ti is a perfect example, why are there no single slot cards? The thing pulls 60W, you could dissipate that with the cheapest of HSF. I cant even find a low profile one save for the Galaxy/KFA version which isn't available in the US.
Anyway, as someone who remembers the days of high end GPUs being single slot blower cards, I miss having the option of a smaller card to open up other PCI-E slots and to give me more options for my media center that needs a LP card (god the 750 Ti would be perfect).
Also, I get the silence thing too, I just wish there were options, we don't need 10 models that are almost identical with giant dual slot coolers. My HD 7990 draws almost 500W while mining and it stays under 80C on two slots, I don't think a 60W card needs something half the size.
