Fx-8320, Asus R9 280x, 16gb 1600mhz ram. My GPU has 11GB of memory available. What should I do?

It may or may not be using that all the time, it might only use it when it needs some extra memory (which i believe it mostly just uses for caching textures that aren't immediately in use to allow for faster transfer to the dedicated VRAM, but I'm not entirely sure). I believe you can change it in your motherboard's bios though.
