But what are your system specs? I can't imagine the 8350 would bottleneck an R9 290x in Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 is optimised for those components.

There is no reason for being rude. Possibly your drivers for the GPU or possibly your PSU can not handle the input required to run the R9 290X, I believe it is around 42A for the GPU.
